Privacy Policy
This policy explains how DawatFit processes information when you use the iPhone app, paid features, website, or support.
Scope and age limit
This policy covers DawatFit services offered in the United States. CUT OS is intended only for people age 18 or older. Do not create or use an account if you are under 18.

Date-of-birth processing
DawatFit sends the date you enter to its server to decide whether the account is eligible under the adults-only rule. The raw date is designed to be used in memory for that request and discarded after the decision. It is not designed to be stored in the DawatFit database, added to your authentication profile, placed in URLs, or included in analytics. DawatFit stores only the eligibility result, policy version, and decision time. This process is not identity verification.
Service providers
- Clerk provides authentication, identity, verification emails, sessions, and account-security services.
- Replit and its database infrastructure host the CUT OS API, public website, and production PostgreSQL database. The current database service uses Neon infrastructure.
- Apple distributes the app and processes App Store subscriptions and related transaction records.
- RevenueCat manages subscription entitlements and purchase status. DawatFit identifies the RevenueCat customer with an internal DawatFit user ID rather than sending weight, meal, date-of-birth, name, or email fields as customer attributes.
- Expo Application Services is used to build and deliver app binaries and is not part of the ordinary in-app customer-data path.
- Email providers process support messages that you choose to send.
These providers process information under their own terms and privacy practices and may keep records needed for security, transactions, fraud prevention, legal compliance, and service operation.
Tracking and advertising
DawatFit does not use your body, fitness, meal, nutrition, purchase, or eligibility information for third-party advertising or cross-app tracking. The current app configuration contains no advertising SDK and has Apple tracking disabled. RevenueCat provides subscription analytics used to operate paid access.
Retention and deletion
- Account, profile, weight, meal, preference, and linked entitlement data are kept while the account is active and are removed from the live DawatFit database through the in-app deletion workflow.
- The raw date of birth is designed to be discarded immediately after each server decision and not persisted by DawatFit.
- The in-app IP-based abuse limiter expires its key after approximately one minute. Hosting and authentication providers may retain separate network and security records under their policies.
- The production database currently has a seven-day point-in-time recovery window. Deleted information may remain in rolling backups until those backups expire.
- A minimal deletion-coordination record may remain after account deletion to prevent recreation by an old identity and to recover deletion failures. It contains a one-way identity hash rather than the completed account's email, weight, meal, or nutrition data.
- Apple and RevenueCat may retain transaction records for billing, fraud prevention, tax, accounting, dispute, and legal purposes. Deleting DawatFit does not erase records controlled by Apple.
- Support messages and security records are kept only as long as reasonably needed to respond, protect the service, resolve disputes, and meet legal obligations.
Optional AI food features
DawatFit Pro can estimate food in a photo. You choose whether to use this feature. Before a photo leaves your device, the app shows the photo and asks you to send it for analysis. Avoid faces, documents, and other private information.
When you confirm, CUT receives the photo and sends it to OpenAI to estimate food, serving size, calories, and nutrients. CUT removes JPEG application metadata (including EXIF metadata) before sending the image to OpenAI. CUT does not send your email, date of birth, account identifier, or saved health history with the photo-analysis request. CUT does not save the photo in its server database or application logs. OpenAI processes the image under its applicable API data policies; disabling response storage is not a promise of zero provider retention. See OpenAI API data policies and OpenAI's privacy policy.
Photo results are estimates, not measurements, medical advice, or allergy and food-safety checks. You review and can edit the result before saving. Only food and nutrition values that you choose to save enter your diary and optional saved foods. Their retention and deletion follow the account-data provisions above.
CUT also offers optional AI meal creation. It sends the request and the minimum enabled food preferences, confirmed meals, and targets needed for that feature to its AI provider, not your email or birth date. The app explains this before you request a meal. You review suggestions before logging them.
To enforce the included AI allowance, CUT records request counts and token/cost usage against an internal account identifier. Photos and meal creation share the same daily and monthly allowance. Manual logging and barcode lookup never consume that allowance.
Account deletion
A signed-in user can request deletion in Settings. The workflow is designed to delete the Clerk identity, DawatFit account, linked profile, weight and meal records, and the RevenueCat customer linked to the internal DawatFit user ID. A minimal coordination record may remain as described above.
Deleting a DawatFit account does not cancel an Apple subscription. You can manage or cancel Apple subscriptions at Apple's subscription management page.
Security
DawatFit uses authenticated account boundaries, encrypted network connections, secure device storage for session and recovery state, access controls, abuse limits, and minimized application logging. No security method can guarantee absolute protection.
Your choices and privacy requests
You can edit supported profile, weight, and meal information in the app, delete individual records where controls are provided, manage Apple billing through Apple, and request account deletion in Settings.
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or obtain information about personal data. Email ahmed.zarif@gmail.com with the subject “Privacy request.” We may ask for reasonable account verification. If a request is denied, you may reply to appeal the decision. We do not discriminate for exercising applicable privacy rights.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as DawatFit, its providers, or applicable requirements change. The effective date above will be updated. If a change materially affects how existing account data is used, DawatFit will provide an appropriate notice in the app, on this website, or by email before the change takes effect when required.
